I know we will get MAYBE 1-2 of these and some have gigantic odds to make it, but I can hope. I know it’s not by any stretch a sniping weapon, but they keep forcing the Drilling gun so why not, but i’d love to see the BAR make it in somehow. The Gewehr and RSC has me pretty pessimistic about the ZH29 and the SVT, and again I’d be shocked for no Garand. If Season 2 is the last season i don’t see more than 2-3 rifles making the cut. I’d love to get the Mannlicher, Ross, M1941 Johnson, Swedish Mauser, Murata 18, Arisaka Type 38, SMLE, MAS-36, Carcano, ZH29, the I assume not very well known sniper variant FG-42, and the SVT-40 in particular. I’d be stunned if we did not get an M1 Garand with the M1A1 Carbine being in the game. Just don’t do it for me, won’t even bother mentioning the Drilling (Rebellion, please stop putting it in over other cooler guns).

I also just have found myself not particularly interested in some of the DLC rifles, the Pedersen and Winchester rifles. If you have sidearms or secondaries you’d wan to see let’s hear those too. Although I wouldn’t mind the M50 sub machine gun that the USMC a fair bit. As long as I have the STG-44 and the PPSH-41 I’m happy.

I don’t really have many complaints about sidearms and secondary weapons. I was really surprised to see no Carcano in SE (yet).

Being a major WWII era weapons nerd I loved the loadout options once after I got the deluxe edition.īut I felt like I didn’t /need/ to buy the DLC to still have a very cool mix of loadouts, and with SE5 it just feels like a not as impressive starting mix (even though there is only one less base game rifles) and that some obvious inclusion weapons have been/were left out or have yet to be introduced in a DLC pack. While there were of course some really cool weapons in the DLC for SE4, it feels like there were a couple more base game rifles.
